Core idea
Each state now tells a body-language micro-story: preparation, primary action, overshoot, facial change, and return. Complexity does not mean noise — idle stays subtle while failure, jump, and wave can act broadly.
Think of it this way: They are verbs directed by an animator: even a short word gains intent when it has preparation and consequence.
How to read it
Idle breathes and blinks with arms down.
Runs use contact, passing, flight, and recovery.
Wave and jump include anticipation and overshoot.
Failure, waiting, work, and review change face, weight, and gesture.
Technical layer
Independent review passed eight sequences and rejected idle for oversized gestures. Only that unit was rebuilt as a breathing, blink, and micro-shift cycle, preserving complexity without distraction. A bonus library adds 16 expressive poses outside the runtime atlas.
